Upon graduating from Harvard , Edward G. Pitts purchased a bankrupt furniture company in Baltimore called Cochran Upholstery. Building via word a mouth with the interior design community we feature a Made in the USA brand of high quality seating and tables for the modern space.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Every piece of furniture is mass produced for cost effective yet the finish and upholstery is the final element that allows the piece to be built per the designers specifications. A great blend of mass customization that only a local company can offer.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
We market in 42 countries with the Middle East as our largest overseas market yet it is so rewarding to see our designs in local projects such as the Ravens Stadium and Oriole Park.
